The Disaster Education Program teaches consumers to properly prepare for potential disasters, as well as how to respond and recover once a disaster has hit.

Healthy Homes Solutions -- Good Health Begins at Home

Healthy Homes Solutions -- Good Health Starts at Home, builds upon the Healthy Homes initiatives and partnership of the United States Department of Agriculture-National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA) and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development-Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control (HUD) that address housing-based health and safety risks. NC State Extension is a part of a network of state coordinators who partner with state agencies, medical professionals, schools, and community groups to educate families on home health hazards.
