Holiday Celebrations and COVID-19

Many families look forward to gathering for traditional holiday celebrations every year. This year, however, requires extra caution. COVID-19 is a concern for families, especially when families from different households and communities will be coming together. To help assess risk and concerns, the CDC shares information related to holiday gatherings. As you plan, be certain to consider:
  1. Community levels of COVID-19
  2. The location of the gathering
  3. The duration of the gathering
  4. The number of people at the gathering
  5. The locations attendees are traveling from
  6. The behaviors of attendees prior to the gathering
  7. The behaviors of attendees during the gathering
The CDC also provides important tips for those who will serve as hosts for cookouts or holiday celebrations.
