USDA-FSA Disaster Assistance Programs
The Farm Service Agency (FSA) offers disaster assistance and loan programs to assist agricultural producers in their recovery efforts following floods or other qualifying natural disasters.

Disaster Assistance Sales and Use Tax Exemptions
USDA has issued special disaster rules granting a waiver for hot foods purchased with SNAP EBT benefits through November 14, 2016.

State Environmental Inspectors to Test Water Quality Near Swine Farms
Under the direction of Gov. McCrory, state environmental inspectors will begin sampling water quality this week downstream from swine farms where floodwaters have started to recede.
